§ As both a Registered Nurse and Licensed Nursing home Administrator, Ms. King has a unique advantage over other consultants with her extensive clinical and managerial knowledge of long term care requirements.
§ Since the establishment of G.A.K. Consulting, Inc. Ms. King has provided litigation support for both plaintiff and defense firms representing long term care providers and her expert testimony experience includes numerous depositions and trials.
§ Prior to founding G.A.K. Consulting, Inc., Ms. King was the Clinical Specialist for Roush & Associates, Inc., the Vice President for quality assurance for a multi-facility long-term care organization, and the Division Chief of Regulatory Compliance/Crisis Management for the A/D/S Consulting Group.
§ During her five years as a Compliance Specialist with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Ms. King was the Director of Survey Operations and also served as the liaison between the federal government and the state survey agency in their dealings involving health care providers with regulatory issues.
